Objective
Students will learn to:
- define expertise in occupational physiotherapy as part of multiprofessional collaboration in occupational health services
- define the laws that regulate occupational health services
- summarize and report, together with other occupational health care staff or alone, the main aspects of a work place survey related to ergonomics and physical work strain.
-assess and analyse ergonomic and/or work-related stress problems and propose improvements.
- define the concept of multidimensional work ability and the maintenance of work ability
-use various digital and technological applications to assess wellbeing at work
- to apply the principles of sustainable development when using various digital and technological applications e.g. in the assessment of well-being at work
Content
- occupational health services and the relevant legislation, collaboration in occupationa health services
- the concept of ergonomics
- ergonomic survey as part of a work place survey and the associated reports
- physical stress at work
-welfare technology, robotics and digitalization
- the concept of multidimensional work ability and maintenance of work ability
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Students:
-use professional concepts related to ergonomics and well-being at work and justify their choices based on the client's needs, but using a limited knowledge base.
-work in various settings, partly supervised, partly independently and apply assessment methods appropriately and safely.
-under supervision, take into account ergonomic aspects
-evaluate their action to some extent
-contribute to the activities of the group and know how to report the results of an ergonomics survey.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
Students:
-use professional concepts related to ergonomics and well-being at work and justify their choices based on the client's needs, using an extensive knowledge base.
-work in various settings independently and apply assessment methods appropriately and safely; justify their action
-take into account ergonomic aspects
-systematically evaluate and develop their action
-work with commitment, promoting the activities of the group and know how to report and give reasons for the results of an ergonomics survey.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
Students:
-use professional concepts related to ergonomics and well-being at work and justify their choices based on the client's needs, using an extensive knowledge base in changing settings
-work in various settings independently and professionally and apply assessment methods appropriately and safely; give reasons for their action
-extensively take into account ergonomic aspects in changing, unanticipated settings
-systematically and critically evaluate and develop their action
-work with commitment, promoting the activities of the group and reforming professional practices
-know how to report and give reasons for the results of an ergonomics survey and propose improvements together with the working community
