Students will:

- understand the role of the nervous system in human functioning

- Structure and function of the central nervous system
- Classification and regulation of movements
- Neuromuscular system and its functions

Students:
- can partly recognize the various parts of the nervous system and they are to some extent able to describe the main functions of these parts
- are to a limited extent familiar with the function of the neuromuscular system and with the muscle contraction mechanism

- recognize the various parts of the nervous system and they are able to describe the main functions of these parts
- are familiar with the function of the neuromuscular system and with the muscle contraction mechanism.

Students:
- can list the various parts of the nervous system and are able to describe functions of these parts in detail
- are familiar with the function of the neuromuscular system and with the muscle contraction mechanism, and know how to apply the material learnt to professional practice
