Professional Development in Physiotherapy (2cr)

Objective

The students will know how to
- evaluate their learning and development into physiotherapists by working on their professional growth portfolios throughout their studies,
- analyze their personal professional development processes,
- apply the career planning process to prepare themselves for the demands of society and working life, and
- make use of the study counselling offered to them.

Content

- Learning about physiotherapy as a profession and development into the profession
- Portfolio theory
- Compiling a professional portfolio, portfolio sessions
- Individual and group tutoring

Qualifications

No previous studies are required.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Pass:
Students:
- prepare their portfolios according to the instructions and
participate in portfolio sessions
- participate in tutoring as agreed

Materials

Students will receive a reading list.
