Osaamistavoitteet
After the course the student has depend insight into fundamental issues on production and operation management, how different theories will work in practice and how to make most of the accounting, science, mathematics and statistics in a business. Student is capable to apply learned theories in real life case.

This course provides an introduction to the field of production and operations management. It is designed to highlight the practical and applied techniques which can improve the organization?s quality and productivity. The course draws upon the student?s knowledge of accounting, science, mathematics, management and statistics.

Satisfactory (2-1): The student has participated actively in the course. Student has shown in the course ability to comprehend the basic concepts of the course: Student has been able to use the basic concepts of the course in the case company?s assignment.

Toteutustavat
The course includes lectures, reading of textbooks, and writing of essays. Also, students are required to take a part in workshops and projects.
