In the study module of Circular Economy of the Food Chain, you learn about the factors and boundary conditions related to the carbon cycle, food waste, biogas and solar energy.
Carbon cycle and low-carbon food chain studies will give you ability to recognize the factors which are affecting to carbon cycle and understand the impacts of climate change in food chain. You will learn to evaluate and identify the potential and business opportunities and limitations of farm bio gas and solar energy. You will learn to recognize different types of food waste and food waste-related financial opportunities and limitations in working life. You will familiarize yourself with circular economy business models in a versatile way; to the product as a service, to renewability, to sharing platforms, to extending the product life cycle, to resource efficiency and recycling. You will learn the key elements of bioeconomy and biocircular economy and their development opportunities.
