Objective

Student
• Recognizes the different functions and goals of marketing communications
• Knows how to work in a multidisciplinary group, where strengths of each individual are exploited
• Knows how to plan and implement different functions of marketing communications
• Recognizes the essential target groups and knows how to communicate using the right channel
• Knows how to develop different functions using analytics and/or other feedback

Content

Wide-ranging and practical marketing communications, case: SeAMK. The main focus is in the practical working, but the course includes also theory.

The students are divided into multidisciplinary groups of different marketing functions based on the interests and knowledge of the participants and as well as the marketing needs. Is it possible to participate in one or several groups. The credits accumulate based on the working hours.

All functions are based on the goals and procedures of the SeAMK marketing communications.

More precise description of the contents:
The students familiarize themselves with the SeAMK marketing plan and calendar and also the strategy of SeAMK, which reflects to the actions of SeAMK marketing communication. The course includes going through the marketing communication actions and planning, implementing and analyzing new actions.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

5 = The student has done the required work commendable and has participated in the course actively and constructively.
3 = The student has done the required work well and has participated in the course actively.
1 = The student has done the required work and participated in the course.
