Objective

After completing the course, students will be able to present the partners involved in children's library work and explain the basis for cooperation with each of them and why it is important. They will be familiar with the prerequisites for multidisciplinary and multi-professional cooperation. They will be able to plan and build cooperation in a multidisciplinary cooperation group.

Student workload

The course includes five (5) lessons. Each lesson lasts three (3) hours. In addition, students are expected to engage in independent study. One credit corresponds to 27 hours of individual work.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The course is completed when the student is able to name and define the important partners in children's library work in their own municipality. The student is able to explain what kind of cooperation is already in place and suggest new forms of cooperation. The student is able to justify the principles and rules of cooperation. He/she is able to plan the start of cooperation with one new partner.
