Teaching methods

The course is an independently completed online study unit:

The course is completed independently and at the student’s own pace within its implementation period in the Moodle learning environment. The course does not include joint meetings, pair work, or group assignments.

The student familiarizes themselves with the theoretical materials and completes the given online assignments according to the provided instructions. The course requires independent work and time management skills.

Student workload

The workload of the study is designed so that one credit corresponds to an average of 27 hours of student work to achieve the learning objectives. The actual time required varies individually, e.g., due to prior knowledge.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is able to list some of the areas that affect the well-being of an athlete and is able to outline their significance in overall well-being.

The student narrowly recognizes the importance of self-management as an athlete for development and is unable to plan his or her personal time appropriately.

The student does not recognize the effects of self-confidence and motivation on his / her well-being and does not fully explain the components of his / her motivation.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to name the most important areas that affect the athlete's well-being and is able to explain their main role in overall well-being.

The student is able to name the importance of self-management as an athlete for development and to some extent is able to plan his / her personal time appropriately.

The student is able to explain the effects of self-confidence and motivation on his / her well-being and is able to list some components of his / her motivation.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to list the areas that affect the athlete's well-being and is able to explain their significance in overall well-being.

The student knows the importance of self-management as an athlete for development and is able to plan his / her personal time accordingly.

The student knows the effects of self-confidence and motivation on his / her well-being and is able to list the components of his / her motivation.
