--is familiar with some research and development methods, has some appreciation of research ethics and reliability.

The student
-understands well the importance of nursing knowledge and implementation
-can evaluate and use scientific reports.
-the student will have returned the assignments within the given time frame and will have used the key content of the course.
-has a good understanding of research and development methods and is able to assess the ethics and reliability of research.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student
- has an excellent understanding of the importance of nursing knowledge and inplementation.
- excels in evaluating and using scientific reports.
- has returned assignments within the given time frame and has made extensive use of the main content of the course.
- has an excellent knowledge of research and development methods and is able to evaluate the ethics and reliability of research.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Failed = 0
The student
- does not demonstrate an understanding of the importance of nursing knowledge.
- does not know how to evaluate scientific reports.
- learning assignments are not returned within the given deadline and/or do not demonstrate knowledge of the course content.
- does not have sufficient knowledge of research and development methods, research ethics and reliability.
