Objective
Understands the main turning points of library history. Especially the development of the Finnish libraries is in focus. The student understands how the Finnish library system changed during the 20th century and which the factors that influenced its development are.
Content
The history of libraries from ancient times to our days. Both Finnish libraries and libraries in other countries are dealt with.
