Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Students
- know how to measure human posture, movement and moving using a variety of physiotherapy assessment methods and are able to interpret and partly explain the results to facilitate clinical reasoning
- have knowledge of the key points in moving but are not able to make use of them in all situations when assisting their clients
- can list the biomechanical parameters of gait
- are able to video gait and under supervision analyse changes in walking
Assessment criteria, good (3)
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
Students
- measure human posture, movement and moving reliably using a variety of physiotherapy assessment methods and are able to interpret and explain the results to facilitate clinical reasoning
- are familiar with the key points in moving and consider them in various situations when assisting their clients with moving
- are familiar with the biomechanical parameters of gait
- are able to independently video gait and analyse changes in walking
