Objective
Students
-know how to measure and analyse human posture, movement and physical activity using physiotherapy methods
- are familiar with key factors in human movement and use this knowledge to assist movement
-are aware of normal gait parameters
-know how to video clients’ gait and analyse changes

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Students
- know how to measure human posture, movement and moving using a variety of physiotherapy assessment methods and are able to interpret and partly explain the results to facilitate clinical reasoning
- have knowledge of the key points in moving but are not able to make use of them in all situations when assisting their clients
- can list the biomechanical parameters of gait
- are able to video gait and under supervision analyse changes in walking
Assessment criteria, good (3)
Students
