Objective
Students will acquire a comprehensive understanding of poultry husbandry as growing field of production to be able to work in the field.
Content
Production, nutrition, feeding and care of hens, chicks and meat poultry, reproduction and incubation. Current issues regarding housing conditions, health and welfare of poultry, partly according to interest.

Common studies in animal production
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The student is able to take responsibility of feeding, care and health management of different poultry groups and is able to participate professional discussions regarding poultry production
