Objective

Students are aware that all clients with a memory disorder have the right to receive a timely diagnosis and high quality support following the diagnosis. Students know that clients with a memory disorder have to right to receive coordinated, individual, high quality care in all stages of their illness. Students realise how important it is for clients to have equal access to treatments and care and how it is possible to support clients' right to be respected as members of their community. Students are aware of their future professional role in multiprofessional collaboration. They know where to seek information about memory disorders, including international sources of information.

Students know that clients with a memory disorder have to right to receive coordinated, individual, high quality care in all stages of their illness. Students realise how important it is for clients to have equal access to treatments and care and how it is possible to support clients' right to be respected as members of their community. Students are, to some extent, able to apply their knowledge to facilitate clients' dignified daily life at home or in residential care.
