The student

- knows the essential vocabulary of musculoskeletal anatomy
- can name the bony parts of the human body and identify the bony landmarks in the body
- can name the joints of the human body and understands their structure and function
- can name the muscles of the human body and identify the superficial muscles of human body by palpation
- knows bone and muscle structures and understands the basic functions of them

- Anatomy of the musculoskeletal system
- Bones, joints and muscles of trunk
- Bones, joints and muscles of upper limb
- Bones, joints and muscles of lower limb

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student
- has limited knowledge of the essential vocabulary of musculoskeletal anatomy
- can name the bones, muscles and joints of the human body inadequately
- can insufficiently identify the bony landmarks and superficial muscles of the human body by palpation
- can explain the joint and muscle functions in a limited manner

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student
- can partially explain the structure of the respiratory and circulatory system and outline its operating principles
- can outline the anatomical structures of internal and sensory organs and partially explain their operating principles
- knows some essential vocabulary of musculoskeletal anatomy
- can name the bones, muscles and joints of the human body
- can partially identify the bony landmarks, joints and superficial muscles of the human body by palpation
- can partially explain the joint and muscle functions

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student
