Objective
The student is able to
- examine, evaluate and interpret the function and performance of the respiratory and circulatory system
- define and name the most typical diseases of the respiratory and circulatory system and their special features
- apply and draw conclusions about the effects of diseases of the heart and circulatory system on the client's ability to function, planning physical therapy, safe implementation and evaluating the effectiveness of physical therapy.
- take into account the importance of comprehensive and multiprofessional rehabilitation of respiratory and cardiac patients in patient guidance.
- guide respiratory and heart patients individually to the support they need
- recognizes the patient's fear of movement and knows how to encourage him in physical rehabilitation.
- name and identify the importance of lifestyles as risk factors for arterial diseases, in prevention and physical rehabilitation
- justify in patient guidance how regular exercise affects the disease and its risk factors
- recognizes the most important internal medicine diseases (MBO, diabetes, cancer) and knows how to guide a patient who has undergone thorax and gastrosurgery in a physiotherapeutic way

- does not know how to logically apply and draw conclusions about the effects of diseases of the cardiovascular system on the client's ability to function, the planning of physiotherapy, the safe implementation and the evaluation of the effectiveness of physiotherapy.
- knows only poorly how to take into account the importance of comprehensive and multiprofessional rehabilitation of respiratory and heart patients in patient management.
- has only insufficient knowledge of the respiratory and heart patients individually within the scope of the support they need
