Objective

The student is able to create a risk map, conduct a gap analysis, and identify procurement development areas. The student is able to evaluate supply and value chain network and supplier risks and create effective risk mitigation strategies for the procurement function. The student is able to secure contract compliance, create measures for follow-up, and implement contingency plans for managing risks. The student is able to distinguish different types of procurement contracts as well as evaluate the context of legal frameworks and applicable law for their procurement cases. The student is able to define and negotiate enforceable contract terms (e.g. indemnity, liability, force majeure etc.) and understand the strategic importance of the contract management process.
