Objective
The student is able to evaluate the potential changes and opportunities in procurement caused by digitalisation and artificial intelligence (AI). This enables the student to draw conclusions about possible usage of the procurement technologies and AI-tools available. The student is able to understand procure-to-pay-process design and make recommendations on full-house-suite or best-of-breed solutions and evaluate the automation needs of procurement. The student is able to evaluate, where and how relevant data can be obtained to support and intensify decision-making in procurement. This enables the student to utilise the data effectively in a practical setting e.g. with the help of various metrics (KPI) and dashboards. The student acknowledges the value of supply market intelligence in procurement and is able to analyse supply markets and predict relevant scenarios with advanced tools and information sources. The student acknowledges the importance of procurement analytics and AI in procurement performance management and in identifying opportunities for savings, risk management and forecasting.
