Objective

Students - familiarize themselves with central arts-based and other creative methods - learn by doing how creative methods can produce surprising, unconventional and innovative solutions - find courage and freedom to produce different thinking and action in themselves and in their team as part of problem-solving - learn how to utilize creative methods and how to facilitate their use in a variety of contexts.

familiarization with arts-based and other creative methods • identifying problems that need to be solved in a work environment or context outside the student group • choosing and using a method to solve identified problems in a concrete manner, in contact teaching / läsnätoteutuksena (?) • reporting the process

Materials

More detailed information about the materials will be provided in the course's Hoodle environment. The course also includes the "Luovat menetelmät innovaatioissa" micro-course, which can be found in Humak's online store. The micro-course is free of charge.

Teaching methods

The instruction includes face-to-face teaching on campus, online learning, and a project assignment. Attendance at face-to-face sessions is mandatory. If attending face-to-face sessions is not possible for a student, they must choose the online implementation option for this course.

Employer connections

The Creative Methods Project will be carried out in collaboration with a working life partner or within a project at Humak if suitable projects are available.
