Objective

This course provides theoretical insights and practical activities in the area of organizational behavior and development. After completing the course, the student is able to • describe the issues related to human behavior and interpersonal relations within an organization • apply analytic concepts to evaluate and improve organizational relationships and effectiveness • apply strategies and practices to support the development of organizational processes, structures and cultures to improve competitiveness and tackle the opportunities and challenges of changing business environment.

Content

Theories, conceptual frameworks and topics of organizational behavior, change and development are covered from individuals, teams, groups and whole organizations points of views. • individuals and diversity in organizations (including various individual differences related to organizational relationships, development and effectiveness) • groups, teams and leadership (including topics such as power, politics, conflicts and negotiations in organizations) • organization structure, culture and change • organizational learning
