Objective

The student masters the basics of mathematical expressions, equations and functions. The student identifies directly and inversely proportional quantities and understands the practical situations to which they can be applied. They identify situations in which percentage calculations are used and are able to apply percentage calculations to them. The student utilizes spreadsheet to model mathematical tasks and to find a solution.

Teaching methods

The course includes Hill classes and independent study online ( Moodle). The dates of the Hill lessons can be found in the Time-edit with the course code. Attendance is compulsory. The course includes preliminary assignments to be done on the course's Moodle platform before the orientation lecture. Preliminary assignments must be returned to Moodle by 22:00 on 11.05.2025. If the assignments have not been returned to Moodle by the deadline, the course will not be open for participation. Please obtain the book to be used in the course in good time.
