Objective

Occupational and environmental safety in construction
Students are aware of the responsibilities of the actors involved in a house building project

Competence in the construction process
Students are aware of the significance of construction in society and they know the actors involved and the stages and progress of a construction project. They are able to seek information independently to develop their communication and interaction skills. Students are also introduced to how to choose a planner and make a planning contract.

Students will be competent in making a project plan and the documents pertaining to construction.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student knows the basics of construction project management. The student is able to describe how a construction project is developed and at what stages the properties of the project must be influenced, and how. The student is able to make a simple project plan acceptably.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student knows the key aspects of construction project management. The student is able to develop a construction project and to influence the properties of the project at its different stages. The student is able to make a project plan for a project.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student knows the key aspects of construction project management very well. The student is able to develop different construction projects and to influence the properties of the project at its different stages. The student is able to make a project plan for a complex project.
