Objective
Students
- can define central concepts related to guiding clients in health exercise and physical exercise
-are able to plan and implement a goal-oriented exercise session
-make use of various guidance methods and tools when working with groups
-know how wo act as instructors of groups, paying attention to individual participants
-can define theories of motor learning and use the principles of motor learning when working with individual clients or groups
Content
- Health education and guidance of health education using various methods and tools
- The principles of guiding individual and groups; planning and implementation of appropriate training programmes
- The basics of motor learning and video analysis of a guidance situation
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Students:
- can list a limited number of concepts and principles central to health exercise and motor learning
- under supervision, are able to apply the principles of sports didactics and physical education instruction to various individual and group situations
- are able to act as instructors of groups, but do not take individual participants into consideration
-are able to name some principles of motor learning, but do not manage to apply them to guidance situations
Assessment criteria, good (3)
Students:
- can list some concepts and principles central to health exercise and motor learning
- are able to apply the principles of sports didactics and physical education instruction to various individual and group situations
- are able to act as instructors of groups and in some situations take individual participants into consideration
-use some principles of motor learning when guiding individual clients and groups
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
Students:
- can define concepts and principles central to health exercise and motor learning
- are able to extensively apply the principles of sports didactics and physical education instruction to various individual and group situations
- are able to act as instructors of groups and take individual participants into consideration
- apply the principles of motor learning when guiding individual clients and groups
