Objective
The student is able to
- apply a predictive method as part of the anticipation of demand for products and services
- assess the role of scenario thinking as part of their professional expertise
- assess and present arguments as to if different visions and goals are realistic in strategic planning and management
Content
- the key concepts of future thinking and anticipation
- search, analysis and interpretation of anticipatory knowledge; sources of existing anticipatory knowledge
- becoming familiar with different methods of futurological research (e.g. the scenario and the Delphi methods)
- megatrends and tacit knowledge as a framework for anticipation
