Objective

The student is able to describe the legal system of Finland and in the European Union. S/he is able to search for information from legal databases and knows how to apply the gained knowledge in practice.

The student knows how to operate as a party to a contract. S/he is able to compose a legally valid letter of authority, which fulfils its function. The student is able to describe the main principles of the sale of movables, especially the rights and obligations of the buyer and seller, both in consumer trade and in business-to-business trade.

Good (4-3)
The student is able to present the legal system of Finland and in the European Union. S/he is able to search for information from Finlex and other legal databases. The student knows how to apply the rules of contract law in practice.
Satisfactory (2-1)
The student is able to explain the legal system of Finland and in the European Union. S/he is able to search for information from Finlex. The student is able to explain the essential principles of contract law.
