Objective
Students will be competent in designing steel structures in ultimate and serviceability limit states according to the eurocodes. Students will be competent in designing joints for steel structures according to eurocodes. They will make use of computer programmes in the designing process. The course is part of the theoretical training required of A-level structural designers.
