Objective
The student is familiar with the theory of finite element methods of bar structures. The student knows how to use finite element method in the analysis of bar structures. The student knows how to use stability theory to define the critical load for bar and slab structures. The student knows the basics of dynamis structures to use as a basis for dimensioning the structural vibration.
Content
Finite element method fo bar structures. Critical load theory of bar structures. Yield line theory of slabs. Stability of structures. Vibration of structures. Obstructed torsion.
