Objective
Student is knowledgeable on the evaluation and the role it has in social work and is critically able to address the meaning, means and targets of evaluation.
                    
Content
Evaluation, when setting targets for social work and when working with clients as well as when assessing the efficiency of social work, is essential part of social work. Evaluation is based on the dea that there is something worth aiming for and some means are selected for getting there. Student reads the given material and writes an essay of six pages about evaluation in social work. Essay must b´ring fore different sides of evaluation and studetn must have a critical stance towards it.

In social work, evaluation as part of the client work and part of the assessment of social work impact are important. Evaluation is based on the understanding that there is some goal to be achieved by some means. Student reads the given material and writes a six page essay on evaluation in social work, bringing out different points of view and By reflecting it critically.
