Objective
Students will know how to assess ill aged people's needs for care and nursing from a client-centred, evidence-based perspective. The will know how to plan, implement and evaluate the care and nursing of ill aged people in various living environments. In their decisions, students will pay attention to the clients' rehabilitation as well as to the promotion of their health and ability to function. Students will recognise development challenges in the care of ill aged people and demonstrate ethical competence.

Grade 5:
Students are able to assess ill aged people's needs for care and nursing from a client-centred, evidence-based perspective at excellent level. They know how to plan, implement and evaluate the care and nursing of ill aged people in various living environments. Students are able to analyse and justify their decisions aimed at the clients' rehabilitation and at the promotion of their health and ability to function. Students recognise development challenges in the care of ill aged people, propose solutions and demonstrate high level ethical competence.
Grade 3:
Students are able to assess ill aged people's needs for care and nursing from a client-centred, evidence-based perspective. They know how to plan, implement and evaluate the care and nursing of ill aged people in various living environments. Students are able to justify their decisions aimed at the clients' rehabilitation and at the promotion of their health and ability to function. Students recognise development challenges in the care of ill aged people and demonstrate ethical competence.
Grade 1:
Students are able to assess ill aged people's needs for care and nursing and to plan, implement and evaluate their care and nursing.Students are to some extent able to justify their decisions aimed at the clients' rehabilitation and at the promotion of their health and ability to function. Students demonstrate ethical competence.
