Objective
Upon completion of the course, students will be familiar with principles and stages of project work. They will learn to work in projects and practise creative/innovative problem-solving. They will learn to work in a planned, goal-oriented manner and use research and development methods. Students will learn to evalute the project backgound, the development process and project results and outcomes. They will become aware of the need to develop their project competence.
Content
Practical training in project settings (current or planned projects), working as members of project groups. The project as a tool in the development of health and social services.
Teaching methods
Practical trianing, research and development methods, documentation, report. Multi-professional collaboration, peer support, independent study.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Pass:
Students are able to describe the methodical, content-related, ethical and ecological competences required to achieve project goals. They analyse and evalute their action, the progress/success of the project and the sustenance of project outcomes.
Fail:
Students are only partly able to describe the methodical, content-related and ethical competences required to achieve project goals. They do not adequately recognise their learning needs.
