Objective
Students know what rights and responsibilities Bachelors of Social Services have in drug care. They study special issue in drug care of various client groups. As members of multiprofessional teams, students know how to counsel clients and families on drug care. The student knows the basics of pharmaceutical calculations.

The student knows the basics of safe pharmacotherapy. The student recognizes some specific medication-related issues for client groups in social work. The student knows the fundamentals of medication calculations
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The student recognizes the basics of safe pharmacotherapy and the specific medication-related issues for client groups in social work. The student knows the most common chronic diseases and the fundamentals of their pharmacotherapy. The student can guide clients in medication management. The student knows the fundamentals of medication calculations.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student understands their responsibilities in implementing pharmaceutical care and can explain and assess the basics of safe pharmacotherapy. The student can describe specific medication-related issues for client groups in social work and the medication treatment of the most common chronic diseases. The student can individually guide clients and their families in medication management. The student knows the basics of drug calculations.
