Content scheduling
Students should attend 80 % of the contact lessons, 3/4 of the lessons.
The exam takes place in the Exam room with real-time and recording audio and video surveillance. In case this arrangement is not suitable for the student, they have the option to come to SeAMK premises and write the exam on paper under teacher supervision.
Objective
Students will have spoken and written competence in using Swedish in both ordinary and in most common field-related situations. They will possess skills and terminology in obtaining and utilizing field-related information. They know how to develop their language skills so that the skills meet the demands of working life.
Students are able

- to talk about their work and environment,
- to describe companies and their operations and/or the company's products and production

Teaching methods
Online teaching, written and oral assignments, information retrieval, independent work.
Attendance is mandatory during online sessions.
Both small groups are taught online.
4 evening sessions starting at 5:15 PM.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The student uses simple structures and a narrow vocabulary in his communication, but mistakes hinder comprehensibility. Understands slow and clear speech and easy professional text. Copes helpfully in predictable working life situations. The influence of other languages is noticeable in the pronunciation. Skill level B1 of the European reference framework.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
In communication, the student uses basic structures almost flawlessly and the basic vocabulary of the professional field in an understandable manner. The student copes moderately in anticipated working-life situations. Pronounces intelligibly. Skill level B1/B2 of the European reference framework.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student uses versatile structures and extensive professional vocabulary in his communication almost flawlessly. Is active and copes independently and fluently in written and oral situations in working life. Pronunciation according to the target language. Skill level B2 of the European Framework of Reference.
Qualifications
Mastering the central structures and general vocabulary of the Swedish language.
Previous studies of the Swedish language from the second level are required.
