Objective
The student
- is able to work in accordance with the values, ethical guidelines and principles of nursing care, and evaluates their implementation in daily nursing care.
- understands the needs of the client/patient by planning, implementing and assessing appropriate individual nursing care in cooperation with the client/patient, their next-of-kin, and other professionals.
- applies a rehabilitative approach in nursing work when counseling the client/patient to achieve/maintain functional ability.
Content
- Assisting the patient in mobility and rehabilitative nursing
- Client-centered decision-making, implementation and evaluation of nursing care
Teaching methods
The course is completed as contact teaching, which includes theoretical instruction and practical training sessions.
The course includes small group work, independently completed assignments, and an exam in the Moodle learning environment.
Student workload
The workload of the study is designed so that one credit corresponds to an average of 27 hours of student work to achieve the learning objectives. The actual time required varies individually, e.g., due to prior knowledge
