Objective

Students can define and explain different ways of assessing, recognising and developing expertise in organisations.
Students are able to develop the methods of managing expertise in cooperation with the management of an organisation. They are able to assess management of expertise as a tool of business development.

- the significance of identifying, managing and developing expertise to the development of business in a company
- various ways to evaluate, identify and develop expertise in an organisation.

Location and time

The schedules can be found in the timetable at https://lukkarikone.seamk.fi/. Timetables are published for the next six weeks of spring by Christmas. Timetables may be subject to changes.

Teaching methods

The study involves contact teaching and requires attendance at the SEAMK campus.
The course is conducted in the Moodle learning environment. The course requires independent work and scheduling.
- The course also includes independent work online.
- The student familiarizes themselves with the theoretical material, completes online assignments according to the given instructions.
