Objective
Structural competence
The student understands the concepts and contents of total energy study in broad outline. The student understands the means to increase energy efficiency. The student understands the basic concepts of circular economy.
Competence in the construction process
The student knows the principles of the norm control concerning energy efficiency, and the effects improving energy efficiency has on construction site.

- Calculating the E-value of a building (the phases in broad outline)
- U-value and basics of compensation calculations of structures
- Drawing up an energy certificate
- Calculation methods to measure carbon footprint
