Objective

The student learns basics of Finnish healthcare organisations and care delivery. The student uses intercultural communication to familiarise his/herself in Finnish healthcare. The student learns registered nurse's work in Finnish healthcare and is able to describe the similaritieas and differencies between Finnish healthcare and his/ her home country's healthcare.

The student works with responsible manners and seeks for learning opportunities. The student shares his/ her own experiences of cultural differencies and work among nursing.

Content

Clinical training orienting into Finnish healthcare. SeAMK nursing offers training possibilities in different healthcare units that can be 3-5 different units within 3-5 weeks period. Training includes orientation, reflection, peer meetings and reflections, written assignment and presentation of student's own home country's healthcare and nursing culture.

The student
- does not follow working life rules.
- does not wwork aseptically and with professional manners.
- is not interested to share his/ her knowledge of the nursing culture.
- is not interested to adapt Finnish nursing culture and healthcare system.
- does not do oral and/ or written assignments related to this clinical training.
