Objective

The student can explain what good occupational health services involve. The student is able to plan, implement and evaluate rehabilitative public health nursing to promote the health and work capacity of working age people, workplaces and communities. The student is able to assess the effects that work, work communities and environments can have on people's health. The student knows how to plan, implement and evaluate action to promote the health of the clients (individuals, families, groups, workplaces, work or other communities). The student knows how to work in multi-professional work communities and in multi-professional and multidisciplinary networks.

Fail = 0
The student is unable to assume responsibility for clients' internal and external safety. The student does not know how to use
dialogue or client-centered discussion or how to involve clients' families and significant others in health care. The student is not able to know to an adequate degree how to use counselling methods to help maintain and promote individuals'/families' health. In counselling work, the student does not attend to client individuality or self-determination. The student does not know how to promote clients' and their families' resources or how to intervene to fight health risks on adequate level.The student does not know how to use multidisciplinary teams to promote clients' health. The student is not able to recognize outcomes or effectiveness of health promotion. The student is unable to independently plan and implement target-oriented family-centered public health nursing or to make decisions together with clients and their families. The student does not know how to promote the health of individuals, families, groups, communities or the environment and is unable to use evidence-based public health nursing methods. The students does not know how to follow up or support clients' individual health, growth and development. The student does not know how to engage in multidisciplinary collaboration.
