Objective
The student is able to identify the methods of innovation and the role of concept design as part of the company's product development process. The student is able to use creative problem-solving methods and evaluate their usability. Students are able to analyze customer needs and utilize them in developing new product ideas.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The student is able to identify and describe key concepts and methods of innovation and product development. The student, when guided, applies the knowledge in practice, participates in the determination of customer needs and in the production, evaluation and presentation of ideas.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The student is able to describe and apply the concepts of innovation and product development. The student is able to apply concepts and use the ideation methods. The student is able to independently define the most important customer needs and generate ideas on their basis and evaluate their utilization.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student is able to fluently define and utilize concepts, models and methods of innovation and product development. The student is able to gather, interpret and apply knowledge about factors that influence the company's innovation activities and product development. The student is able to independently analyze customer needs, utilize ideation methods, make conceptual descriptions and test them in practice.
