Objective
The student
- can present the library and information services of SeAMK
- can name important information producers and sources in the field of health and social care.
- be able to use databases and online services provided by the SeAMK library and other databases and online services relevant to the health and social care sector.
- be able to specify their information needs and select appropriate information sources.
- can interpret and evaluate the information they find and develop their seeking for information.
- can apply the SeAMK guidelines for written work to their assignments in relation to the main types of information sources (books, journal articles, online sources, including international sources) with regard to bibliographical references.

- can apply the SeAMK guidelines for written work to their assignments in terms of reference notes for the main types of information sources (books, journal articles, online sources).
- has participated in class and has completed the assigned tasks in due time and successfully.
FAILED
The student
- cannot introduce the library and information services of the SeAMK and name important information producers and sources in the field of social and health care.
- cannot specify his/her information needs and select appropriate information sources.
- cannot use the databases and online services provided by the SeAMK library or other databases and online services relevant to the social and health field.
- cannot interpret and evaluate the information they find.
