Objective

The student knows the challenges posed to project work by a joint project of many organizations. The student can describe how a project alliance formed by several organizations works. The student can plan, implement, and document a one-time alliance project in a class environment. The student is able to analyze the weaknesses and strengths of the activity independently.

- utilization of project management tools as part of subcontracting work
- analyzing the success of the project

Materials

Opintojakson toteutus perustuu projektitoiminnan vesiputousmalliin. Mikä tahansa projektinhallinnan perusteos on siksi suositeltava, mutta ei pakollinen. Esimerkiksi:

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student has participated in an alliance project exercise. The student recognizes most of the discussed aspects of project management and applies them mostly correctly. The student has participated in the preparation of the group report and in his report shows that he has identified some of the strengths and weaknesses of the work.

The student has actively participated in the alliance project exercise. The student recognizes almost all the discussed aspects of project management and shows a good ability to apply them. The student has actively participated in the preparation of the group report. In his report, the student shows that he has identified most of the strengths and weaknesses of his work and can reflect on them.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student has actively participated in the alliance project exercise, e.g., in the role of project manager. The student recognizes all the discussed aspects of project management and shows an excellent ability to apply them. The student has actively participated in the preparation of the group report. The student's report shows the ability to think deeply and critically about the various aspects of alliance-like project work.
