Objective
Students know how to manage the installation of elements and how to prepare an installation plan, also considering occupational safety. They are also competent in planning logistics and in considering its requirements from the perspective of occupational and environmental safety.
Competence in the construction process
Students know the basics of construction site logistics. They are aware of how the planning of logistics is part of the production planning for the entire construction project.
Competence in structural engineering
Students know how to draw up an installation plan for elements.
Content
- logistics for bringing elements to the site
- planning site logistics
- lifting equipment
- planning and contents of an installation plan for elements
- Visit to a factory

1-5
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The student knows the basic concepts of construction with prefabricated units and the measures required by occupational safety. The student is able to define how the installation of prefabricated units is done and they are able to make an acceptable installation plan for a simple construction site. The student is able to describe the importance of logistics in building with prefabricated units.
.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The student is able to use the concepts of construction with prefabricated units and find the occupational safety risks of chosen solutions and the ways to minimize them. The student is able to define how the installation of prefabricated units is done and they are able to make a good installation plan for a construction site. The student is able to exploit logistics solutions in the planning of a safe implementation of building with prefabricated units.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student is able to apply the concepts of construction with prefabricated units to different situations, paying attention to the occupational safety risks of chosen solutions and the ways to minimize them. The student is able to plan the implementation of the installation of prefabricated units very well and to make a very good installation plan for a construction site. The student is able to compare and apply different logistics solutions in the planning of a safe implementation of a production chain of building with prefabricated units.
Assessment methods and criteria
The evaluation criteria will be announced at the beginning of the course.
