Objective

The student is familiar with the main qualitative and quantitative methods and their use. They can use at least one of the methods in their own work. The student is capable of critical and analytical scientific thinking and knows the main analysis methods.

Content

The main quantitative and qualitative methods, e.g. discourse analysis, content analysis, etc. from the point of view of library and information science. Scientific writing.

Basic knowledge of scientific thinking and qualitative and quantitative methods.

Good understanding of both qualitative and quantitative methods. Understands the foundations of scientific thinking and can use them in his own work.

Excellent understanding of both qualitative and quantitative methods. The student is able to use them critically and analytically in their own work.

Not all assignments were returned and/or the student received less than 50% of the maximum course score.
