Objective
The student is able to assess the health and performance of an elderly person and to guide the elderly in the promotion of their health in an appropriate way for the elderly. The student is able to guide the elderly to seek ways to survive at home and to maintain their ability to function. The student is able to assess the risk factors that increase the need for services related to the health, living conditions and life situation of the elderly.

Elderly Health Check And Health Promotion. Special features of health counseling. Supporting resources and capabilities, creating opportunities for inclusion and empowerment. Opportunities and use of wellness technology.

The student
- demonstrates and manages the basic knowledge of the different aspects of health care work
- seeks information and justifies the use of data sources in health care
- justifies the action with evidence-based information for the development of health care

- is able to guide individual clients and their families in health care

- demonstrates the management of individual, group and community health promotion methods
- assumes responsibility for the overall care and service process of the client in health care
- independently searches for evidence-based information, uses it and assesses it critically in health care and its development
