Objective

The student is able to search for and apply in practice matters related to employment, e.g. legislation on protection of dismissal and the rights and obligations of the parties. He/she is able to draw up a valid employment contract and employment certificate. He understands how the parties to an employment relationship must act in order for the work to be done safely.

The student is able to describe the most important principles and contents of the Collective Bargaining Act and the Co-operation Act. He is familiar with the main content of the Working Hours Act and the Annual Leave Act.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is able to explain the most important legal regulations concerning the rights and obligations of the parties to an employment relationship. He/she is able to explain the main principles of the Collective Bargaining and Co-operation Act. The student is generally familiar with the responsibilities of the parties to the employment relationship in matters of occupational safety.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to search for and apply in practice the most important legal regulations concerning the rights and obligations of the parties to an employment relationship. He/she is able to apply the provisions of the Collective Bargaining and Co-operation Act in practice. The student is well acquainted with the rights and obligations of the employer and the employee under the Employment Contracts and Occupational Safety Act.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is very good at finding and applying legal regulations concerning the rights and obligations of the parties to an employment relationship. He is excellent at applying the provisions of the Collective Bargaining and Co-operation Act in practice. The student has a deep knowledge of the rights and obligations of the parties to the employment relationship under the Employment Contracts and Occupational Safety Act.
