Objective

- The student is able to name the sources of stress in athlete's daily life and knows the methods that can be used to evaluate the stress and recovery
- The student knows the importance of restorative sleep for performance capacity and injury risks
- The student is able to explain the importance of nutrition in the recovery from exercise and is able to list the characteristics of restorative nutrition

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student can name some sources of stress in the everyday life of an athlete but lacks the knowledge about the measurement methods that can be used to assess load and recovery.
The student knows briefly the importance of restorative sleep for performance and the risk of injury.
The student is unable to explain the importance of nutrition in the recovery from exercise and is not able to list the characteristics of restorative nutrition.

The student can name the most important sources of stress in an athlete's daily life and knows some measurement methods that can be used to assess load and recovery.
The student knows in general terms the importance of restorative sleep for performance and the risk of injury.
The student can outline the importance of nutrition in the recovery from exercise and is able to list some of the characteristics of restorative nutrition.
