The total work load of this course is 80 hours consisting of 40 hours of scheduled studies and 40 hours of self-studies.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

A satisfactory grade is reached by carrying out the exercises and mastering the fundamentals of statics. This means that the student is able to solve at least two problems of the the five ones given at the examination.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

A good grade is reached by solving at least three problems of the five ones given.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

An excellent grade can be earned only by solving four basic problems correctly and in addition to that, by solving a challenging problem, the significance of which is clearly indicated on the examination paper.
