Objective

Occupational and environmental safety in construction
Students are competent in planning purchases based on the requirements of occupational and environmental safety.

Competence in the construction process
Students are familiar with the house construction site purchases, their planning and with the basics of supervision. They know the main stages of planning purchases. Students are able to draw up agreements. Students are familiar with YSE 1998 and RYHT 2000. Students know how to apply contract terms to practical examples.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Student is familiar with the YSE 1998 ja RYHT200 contract terms. Student knows how to apply the contract terms in court and how the disagreements are handled in the field of construction. Student is able to write agreements required for common projects and pays attention to their content requirements. Student is familiar with the acquisition planning and controlling practices of construction companies.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Student knows the general contract terms of a construction contract as well as the common acquisition and delivery terms of construction products and is able to apply them diversely in versatile situations and tasks of construction projects. Student understands how to apply the contract terms in court and how the disagreements are handled in the field of construction. Student can write the agreements required for various projects and pays attention to their content requirements. Student is familiar with the acquisition planning and controlling practices of construction companies. Student understands and is able to apply his knowledge to practical activities and problem solving in construction projects.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Student is familiar with the topics of the course and able to apply the learned things in real situations and demanding projects. Student is also capable of analyzing the connections between the learned things.
