Objective
The student knows the elements which affect the horse's feeding and comprehensive welfare and significance. He is able to estimate the state of the horse's welfare on the basis of the horse's behaviour and the feeding received by it, care and living conditions. The student commands the making of individual feeding plans on the basis of the feed analyses. The student understands the significance of the breeding for the horse's health. The student can report and can make the summary and can look for information about the legislation concerning a horse holding and care and about the current research reports.

• Evaluation of the horse's welfare on the basis of behaviour, handling, living conditions, care, feeding and refining factors.
• Legislation which is related to the horse's holding and current research results.
• Using horses in different forms of business activity
• Visits in equine companies
