Objective

The objective is to strengthen the skills in designing timber structures. The student can perform the stability (buckling and transverse buckling) and the dimensioning of overall strutting of a building according to the Euro codes. The student can the dimensioning robust timber structures, timber joints and fire protection. The objective is to reach the qualification required by authorities in designing wood structures.

Content

Dimensioning stresses in according to the Euro codes. Buckling and tranverse buckling. Overall strutting of a building. Joints. Dimensioning of fire protection for timber structures.
