Objective

The aim of the course is to become familiar with typical software and hardware in automation engineering degree programs. The content of the course will vary according to the project selected in the course. The student learns about project-like work. The student learns the basics of 3D CAD modeling and is able to make marketing materials

Content

The course is a competition project. Students become familiar with the automation technology laboratory equipment and software they need for the project. The projects are designed with a working life. The project has involved designing a new and innovative product. The product has been developed marketing material and made into a 3D CAD model. In addition, the products also have a 3D printed model (Rapid Prototype).

The course is approved if the student participates in the project, produces design and marketing materials and participates in the course competition.

Assessment methods and criteria

Active participation in the course and at the end a presentation of project work.
